L'Occitane en Provence, commonly known as L'Occitane, is an international retailer of body, face, fragrances and home products based in Manosque, France. The company was founded in 1976 by Olivier Baussan with the purpose to create a company that celebrates and preserves the traditions of his native Provence.

 L’OCCITANE develops products that are increasingly respectful of both mankind and the world we live in.  We produce eco-refills and much of our packaging is made with recycled materials or uses resources that are renewable or from sustainably managed forests.  We strive to minimize our carbon footprint by limiting the use of air transport, promoting the use of renewable energies and, wherever possible, transporting our goods by sea, rail or road.
